Back when JC played fullback for South Sydney I had my bike L's then riding around the roads, made it much easier to get my car licence in 1986,
!st time lucky in 1986, had mates got it 3rd, and 2nd go, thats fine
with the young'en having a crack at the gig, I thought he would get it easy,
( this person will remain nameless as he is a moderator on this site)
His younger brother had a GREAT laugh when it got to the "The Drive for five"
10th time lucky.........
But when it got to the "The Drive for five x2"............. Hmmmmmm

Yeah sad sad,
He said it wasn't him, but the driving inspector,
But all ten of them??
The basic skill was missing thru out all.
Listening ( BTW, he knows it all... at 18 too, go figure)
The younger brother said, "awell I only have to get it ninth time to do better than him" LOL _________________ Don't JEW me................ok |

Yeah I got it first go, no driving instructors either, I had a mate who went to a driving school, and spent a bucket load, he bragged about it, 1st go with no instructor shut him up, most other mates 2nd time, most of my mates were 6 months older tham me, so I would listen to there bad experiences and learn off theirs, it paid off
But 10 times........... could of brought a car for the cost of 10 tests _________________ Don't JEW me................ok |

Got my first one on the first shot so i thought i would lose it to see if it was realy that easy.So after walking for 6 months or so i went back to get it.Having a dui on my record they failed me three times ,one of which they told me to get out of the car before i had even left the carpark.
It cost me every time and on the 4th attempt my instructor told me to sling him another $300 and whatever i do don't hit the witches hats in the carpark coz they can see that from the office and they would have to fail me.Amazing what cash does to the attitude of the guy marking your test.Only lost 2 points fancy that!
And yogie that was also at Moonee Ponds.
How much did yours cost? _________________ I am old and wise because i survived young and stupid |

when I got bike licence, it was at vic roads @ carlton, was raining so hard that day the instructor told the 3 of us to ride around the car rego section till he was happy we could ride properly, while he stood under a shelter... _________________ 2005 KFX700
