| I am after a electric start system from a Honda TRX 400 that someone might be dismantling in the hope it will fit on my 2005 XR400 |

you'll need the crank too, and some other bits
ive got the adb magazine at home with the article they did on it, have you seen that?

| No I haven't seen that article the only one I have seen is the one that a company called XR Stuff sell, but they are in the UK so their kit becomes expensive. |

400EX parts are cheap and plentiful on US ebay, brand new cranks are like $250, and even complete bottom ends arent that bad.

If you get stuck, try www.jeffreyhonda.com.au they sell a complete kit for around $2000.00. It's a lot of money but it just bolts on and you don't need to touch the crank and includes everything you need. I want to get one for my 96 model XR but can't afford it at the moment.

Can you just fit a better/auto decompresser like I did to my kick start only 02 wr250 & wr426, out of the later electric start models?
