Hi Guy's,

As im new to quads, I decided to buy a cheap internet quad to make sure its fun and exciting. The first ride was cool, but the more I ride the less exciting its getting, I think due to the lack of funness of this particular quad. So I was wondering if there is any mods I could do to pump up the power of this quad? It has a 250cc Zongshen motor and standard everything else.

Cheers,

Hi edzo69 i don't know if it would be worth spending any money on your quad, not sure there are to many aftermarket companies manufacturing for Chinese quads.

The cheapest way to get more speed out of that thing is to ride it down a mineshaft with a tail wind. If you want a good bang for your buck buy a second hand banshee, they are selling on here regularly and are well priced.

Cheers dude,
Had to laugh because I actually work in a underground mine, I thought maybe buying one of these chinese quads, if I bend it, it wont hurt the hip pocket as much. I think a Banshee maybe the way to go CHEERS!!!!!!!!!!!

for a couple of hundred bucks you could make it faster but you'll not have much luck making it handle better. www.akunar.com will probably have a high comp piston for it and maybe a cam. or as has already been suggested you could buy something that is already faster like a banshee or a 450
