Never been to the states but we are definately stopping at Glamis when we finally make it over there!

I don't know for a fact, but it is probably pretty pricey to ship your quad over there and back again. And there's import/export papers to deal with, quarantine, and the posibility of it getting "lost" in transit.

Have a good look thru the ads in any DirtWheels mag. There's probably quad hire places nearby Glamis. I know there is a hire place for quad holidays @ Pismo Beach.

Depending on how long you plan to stay you could buy a cheap quad while you're over there and sell it again before you leave.

Or you could do as i have done and make friends with someone over there (via a forum) who can hook you up with a "spare" quad to use on your holiday. I have a Cannondale with my name on it next time i am in Ohio...

I was at Pismo dunes in California last June but i think Stockton Dunes NSW is better and a lot bigger but Pismo had the awesome machines ie sand rails and tricked up quads ! Doing Glamis on my next trip with my buddy from Arizona.

PS
No need to buy a quad there are a crap load for hire even Honda TRX450's right on the beach, rows and rows of them ready to ride also mini single seat buggies, those places are really set up for visitors !
