Dont worry yogie , there has been quite a few that have been bent and broken in non racing circumstances ,, you have to look further into the forum ,, every make has problems , i myself installed after market bash plates for the full length of the machine and has front A arm protecters all made of 6 mm thick alluminium chekka plate, made by company called highlifter in the states, and Austraco here in oz sells them, but be warned they are not cheap and they are of exceptional quality easy to install

I have been welding 10mm x 100 x 750 in the section from front of the arms to about middle of the foot pegs for my customers that pig hunt . this does not really solve the problem . the problem is in the geometry of the machine . Most tractors use the can am idea but they don't travel at 80 kms

there will be a limited number of places available ,, prolly around 18 and will not be any sweepers all will be travelling together and coming home together from the ride , will be meeting at a designated departure point , extra fuel will be nedded and water and will have to be carrried by the person alone.

Hay Adam I have a 07 outlandermax 800xt and it would be the biggest piece of junk I have owned. True they ride great and go hard but it will keep you reaching into your wallet evertime you ride it. At just over 200hrs mine has cost me approx $3000.00 in breakdowns and is now currently not going as I went for a day out on Sunday and it went for 5 mins and now wont start as it keeps showing a fault. This after the first ride after coming back from the dealers for having to get it fixed. Stay away or get burned as Can Am Aust dont give a rats arse.

Hi I don't know how much work I do each year on a quad compaired with other people but after running tours along side other brands of quads about 12000km last year on a couple of 800 Max's, XT's and Renegades I wouldn't buy anything else. 0429188799
