730?? How'd you shoe horn that in there? Probably requires to many wild carbs n porting to make it go.
Who makes the kit? Be Interesting to put a midler version up against th currenmt crop of Yam/Honda 700's just as a stock bike comparo?
Installing a moderate kit $2k
Seen 2 Baja's with less than 10 hours on them on e-bay for $6k so for 8 you could put a 730 kit against a 700 stock and be a winner??
With a mild tune a 730 i the open class Finke? Proven race winner.
Oh ohhh, I think I made the baby juice.... _________________ www.asho.com.au for your shooting and outdoor needs

You did get the kit sent here and not send the engine to the states didnt you, I'd hate to see the freight paper work if you did?
Who installed the kit? From the look of another post it may well have been you? _________________ www.asho.com.au for your shooting and outdoor needs

Hey Ash, I think you mis understood geeman, sounds like he is asking
honest questions.
Geeman, yes I did buy the parts and slapped it together myself.
As for taking the day, yes we took out the quad class and lined up
some of the bikes and buggies but we didnt race the BIG RED V8
as he broke a chain. We will have to see in feb 09 ..
Hands down the people there are very nice and helpfull and ran a
a well organised event.
Thanks
Toli.. _________________ TPA

True enough they were genuine questions Ash/Toli. Theres been two DS650 almost new on the market for arounf $6k in the last week, be good to know how badass you can make a 10yo technology against todays release (Honyamazuki).
Ashe I think it was the other post you didnt see that referred back to toli being able to upgrade them, so I wasnt saying it looked crap or anything.
Exactly the opposite.
Just like I found you on the grapevine Ashe Ive now found Toli and his expertise.
It has been my suggestion in technical that we have a sticky or something if people want to post they have a special expertise to advertise for when people do have technical difficulty?? Have merit?
Most people here already know everyone and what they can do but I hope a lot of new people will have a reason to find this site, so they'll need a hand as to who's who. _________________ www.asho.com.au for your shooting and outdoor needs
