Our Race Secretary has asked that all riders be aware of the following section in the Supps:

Riders will be asked to show their back numbers at machinery.

Just a reminder that ALL riders MUST have a legible back number on their jersey or body armour - as per the 2008 Manual of Motorcycle Sport. This will be checked at machinery. Riders that do not have this when racing, run the risk of not being lap scored.

I got ours from here
http://www.helmetcamera.com.au/products.htm

its the xtreme kit so it still needs to be hooked to a recording device. the camera is tv quality and they have been used in V8 supercars, the quality of the footage pretty much comes down to what money you spend on a recording device. We are using a cheap $#@^ hard drive camera and the initial footage off the mem cards is brilliant but by the time I run it through the editing program and then load it to You tube it loses some picture quality and lots of picture size. I think with higher quality software and recording devices I could produce a lot better film clips. The other thing letting me down is the speed I can actually use the computer at. I need some sort of speech recognition so I can tell it what to do instead of sifting through the help screens hour after hour.

I have roughly 60hrs of footage that I'm sure could be turned into a brilliant 3 minute clip...any takers???? laughing

I have just been speaking with the Race Secretary and she has advised that so far we have less than 50 nominations received.

This is a reminder that nominations close on Sunday 15th August (2 weeks time). Hopefully we will get a flood of entries in that time to make this event a success.

thats normal, motocross riders are normally slack. you will get 90% of entries the week it closes !! im surprised you have up to 50 entries as i would of expected about 10 with the other 50-70 riders leave it till the last minute!

also, dont confuse nominations with entries. you might only get 50 riders but each rider might nominate in up to 3 events. In the past we have constituted a success as being 100 entries. Im sure clermont will exceed this easy!

So we still have a fortnight to ;

1 ; Send in entries
2; Get back shirt numbers , do we need one on the front as well ? Wink
3; get bulletproof vest eek

Is there any chance we could see a rough draft of the race order, to give a idea of gaps between classes ?
We'll send our entries in this week Cool

Ps; Had to use kels pc , and It's to late to change profiles!
