Hey its half a quad, exactly what I can afford!! Laughing

Hope the bloke is OK seriously.

Front ball joint doesnt tell an obvious story at that photo, but the front rim seems undented and the back rim is?? What the?

Was there a sonic boom like a air force jet engine had broke the speed of sound? eek

OUCH.

I'm tipping the front wheel parted company first there, maybe loose wheel nuts, all that damage to the ball joints could be caused by the bottom a arm digging in at speed.

I know the bloke who owns this bike he was riding out at cessnock a few weeks ago doing about 80kms and the bottom ball joint failed it drove into the ground which then obviously cartwheeled him. A mate of mine was with him at the time and said it was the worst accident he has ever seen. The rider was knocked unconcious and was in a bad way. They managed to get him into a car and get him to hospital. The bike was only 3 weeks old it was then taken home and yamaha was contacted. They took the bike and inspected it and said, that they will not repair or replace the bike so now he is stuck with a written off quad and a nice bill to pay for repairs.

Regards
Thomas
