This looks a bit different from the one on the aussie site. do the australian delivery models come with nerf bars like the global site advertises? a step forward for manufacturers if they do.
Brad: note thier max claimed power is 33.6 kW which = 45.06HP
width of 1150mm equates to 45.6 inches (around stock YFZ width)
205 kg dry is HEAVY like about 45kg heavier than a Yam or 35 heavier than a new zook so it needs a diet.
I would recommend checking out the photo gallery on their site and getting a closer look at some of the components.
I reckon it would be interesting to get one for a test. buy reading the spec it would prob be quite similar to a pred maybe just not as stable at speed (but they do only reccomend 105kph as Max. lol) _________________

You are quite right in the global site being more accurate. I know the owner of the first one raced. It come with anodised nurfs standered speedo standered as they are regoed in europe that topped out at 115km/ph stock gearing which by the way is the same as my 04 honda with stock gearing. DMX450 never said it was race proven some one else did. You will also find that the predator and the Dinli are the same motor except 1 is 500 and the other is a 450.They are heavy but so are the predators. The Dinli have steel wheels and front bumper.

you have to remember they are new in australia and dmx 450 is the only 1 so far with the guts to try them. You can bet that they will have alloy rims on the next ones and any thing else that makes them better.

dont really care for the looks of the thing and as far as the race proven thing goes well anything can be race proven as long as its ridden by a good rider and as long as it finnishes,, saying that the manufacturer never said it was a race ready motox bike so for those of you putting it down i suggest you sit back and take a look at it for what it is ,,ie look at some of the other cheap crappy bikes you can buy and see if its better than them ,, in all reality you get what you pay for ,if you wanted something that can last you the day with out breaking down ,, cause at the enduro this quad was ridden a banshee that was not that old blew up you might look at this bike because it sounds like it has all the right parts to get out there and have some fun and after all thats what its all about isnt it ..

okay I've got more to say... The way I see it only one manufactuter can win it for the year, So This crowd cant realy win the biggie so if they get behind a few riders and throw some $$$ they just might mix it with a few wins... or at least a few second or third places and before you know it, who knows. But this crowd have to bite the bullet and start investing in a rider or two and who knows, As was mentioned before, the big manufactures had a few hicupps (me thinks suzzie) So we can all guess and hang it on the quad, but just maybe it might scare a few riders, or maybe it is already...
And does it come in a 700 with a auto...mmmmm didnt think so, So I dont need one. Who's trailriding east in a fortnight ???? see ya then chaps. _________________ 2005 KFX700

can anyone tell me what the problem was with the banshee that supposedly blew up at the renmark enduro the dinli was in? i'm hearing rumours it was nothing more than a blocked fuel cap breather. not much of a problem really, no more than the minor coolant leak of the dinli.

Who cares?
If Dinli are going to offer riders a race plan as Mick A says, and they are going to get involved in MX then they will get spanked by all the Japanese brands. It's not an MX quad but merely a recreational quad. The Predator gets spanked every time it shows up at MX in the Pro class so how will a 450 do any good at MX? Crap!
It may not be a bad quad but if they talk it up to go racing, it will be it's downfall. |

Hi Everyone!
I have sat back and read all of your opinions, rumors, stats and judgements on the bike and they are all bought into account (SOME OF THEM VERY RELEVANT)
Dinli are a new, motivated and innovative company. The DMX-450 is the first "recreational" full size ATV they have produced. If some of you take your blinkers off and look at the few minor modifications you have to do to get the bike competative you might even be amazed.
The "claimed" 48hp came from Dirt Wheels Mag. I believe it is in the states but not sure. If you would like a copy of the article sent to you please email me at cutloose@esc.net.au
The official power output is rated at 45hp but as we all know this can vary so much due to altitude, air temps etc etc.
Yes as all new companies go through we do experience a few minor teething problems, not hiding anything from anyone and for those who were asking about the coolant problem with our race bike out there it was only a seal which will be sorted out this week.
After all this was only posted as a DINLI DMX-450 FOR SALE but all of your opinions are taken into account and greatly appreciated.
Any further questions regarding the very attractive price tag offered to racers or information on the company feel free to contact me!
And dont be scared of change or something new...........
Regards
Lindsay Daw
