From what I can see MX version comes with beadlocks in the back, an adjustable axle and fully adjustable shocks.

XC version comes with beadlocks all round........dont know if it's the X version or not.

Maybe need lights because they are always last to come back in ,, after break downs and needs lights to see where they are going

Am I right in thinking that there will be two versions of DS450 available in 2009? DS450 X and DS450 MX?

Lights are worthless if they breakdown. Don't work if the quads not running.

I thought people were just changing shocks, arms, tyres etc and riding them in like enduro style events like 24 hour style events. I would guess on a racer they're there to be unplugged if you dont need them and put on when you do.

But then again I thought that the KTM was voted best MXr out of the box by Dirt Wheels mag not suzuki. The change in arms and shocks, all depends on the ride now as to whether this best on paper spec will convert to best off the shelf racer.

It looks like the rear is raised a bit in a bow like fashion, I havent raced MX what would be the advantage in that? Keeping reach to bars as you move backwards?

Personally I think it looks good, even say as against recent pics of the Polaris. Especially I think the front guards look wider for better splatter control. And i quite rate Can Am's styling on most bikes, i think their just a lil better in presentation all round, just an approach of the company I guess. Thats just my view.

Good on them for doing what they said they would and really try to make large steps forward instead of most of the others with just some piss poor atempt of trying to cater to the quad community.

If it is as good as they are making it out to be they will scare the others into following suit which will only benefit us all
