If you want a custom trailer that is tuff and will tow well call Bill or Wes
BC Trailers - Adelaide.
I crossed the Simson Desert with them, only 1200 dunes.
Trailer copped a real hard time there and back - no problems.
By the way Bill has built over 5000 trailers, pretty sure he known where to put the wheels to tow correctly and wont fall apart.

Howdy guys n gals,
just after ideas and suggestions regarding the fitout/setup of trailer. Mine is built to "lock-up", has done maiden trip.
Is for carting of quads as well as camping/living in for race/ride W/E's.
After ideas on what works well regarding beds, cooking options, power
supply options,12V/240/solar, hot water,? gas instantaneous.
Hope that I can benefit from others previous projects.
Cheers Dean.

I used to use a fold away bed type in a trailer i had set up , it can be hinged from the wall , unclipped then let down with a support roll matress out and of you go, just another option .

in regards to hot water, coleman have a great hot water unit called hot water on demand just connect the water and turn the knob it pumps and heats it at the same time , add your shower rose and off you go, i purchased one before easter whole unit with shower tent $300 bucks from Rays Outdoors.

12 volt is a good option but you have to be able to charge it you can pick up cheap generators , i have a honda 2 Kva inverter type and it will run a big microwave , and also a tv if you need to ,, it is pure sinewave ,, you can also buy a Kippor for around 1500.00 it is a chineese copy ,, yeah i know it hurt to buy a honda when i got all yamaha, but it was better suited for size and weight lol

i recently just built a trailer that had a false floor but u could still manage it with the normal style but we had a door that was around 300 high x 1000 wide and we then made a staino bench on the back of it which we then cut a hole in for the cooker part of a webber in one side and then next to it we put a container bout 300 x 400 or so and used that for a small sink all had a water plumbed to it via and electric pump and we just sit the gas bottle for the barby on the ground underneath the hotplate and base. when it was all closed up just looked like a trailer (derr) and when open ready to go in 5 mins with either a small table or the side of the trailer folded down as a food bench

hmmm long winded but i know what i mean lol

HI Deano

HD foam is sure the way to go ,, not long got a camper trailer here it has 100 mm Hd foam and it is better than 150 mm normal foam, it is very expensive but worth it

What's the latest progress on all these great trailers that have been getting built and developed throughout the year. SMITTY surely raised the
bar with the full CAN-AM WRAP for the Finke trip, good stuff Smitty, catch you at Outrim.
Cheers Deano.
