your more than welcome. Very Happy Very Happy Very Happy

Mate as a trail rider I spend on average about $100 a month at my local bike shop, so when I buy from OS its because my local WONT match a price, do you go to one shop only or would you buy from another shop in your town... We are a global comunity now.

That's actually quite a lot of money compared to me. I'm lucky to spend <$600 a year on quad related products (ie. bling, hop up parts & clothes).

You hit the nail on the head yogie, global community & the almighty dollar are two very good reasons to 'shop' around. I go where I get the best bang for my buck.

Well Brad im sure you do purchase in Australia and maybe local and maybe you have more to spend than others ,, but did you stop and think where the retailers that you purchase from ,,, where do they get the items from maybe overseas mmm .

With rising costs of everything in this country we are all entitled to save a few dollars where we can,

Fact 1

I recently spent over one thousand dollars from a local store of mine for some clothing , but i was not prepared to pay $130.00 for a OEM item that i would of had to wait 2 weeks for , when i finally purchased for under half price delivered in 6 days from America , so you go figure.

I ended up with a carton of beer with the savings which i enjoyed knowing i saved for it.

We are all as a global community , , if you choose not to shop around that is your right as much as it others for doing it , without persecution

yes Darren it is also my right to opinions that should not get deleted unless it is a breach of forum rules but do you see that happen??

Fact 1. how many bussiness's got behind helping a injured quad rider
fact 2. how many normal forum users did ??

yes some users did and was much appreciated and greatly thankful for but the percentage was bussiness's hence why we should support them i didnt get not donations from usa based places ( i did email a few but either they never replyed or said it was outside their interests)

seems it is more so the trail riders that do this and how can those trail riders expect support for rec rego and the rest from ppl ( bussiness's )
if they dont support them ???

i know the local store you speak of and i also have stopped going there for same reasons but i have not gone outside the country i just do some emails or ring round

imo is all i am stating as i stated before i support australian bussiness and also anything that i think if a worthwhile cause to do with the sport in general

from my end subject is closed but flame me if ya want

Proxt, to me it sounds like you about to spend quite a few $ to fully kit up.
Personally I shop locally and encourage others to do this because this is where the support for our sport comes from. By developing good relationships with Australian businesses and supporting them we keep the
wheels of the industry turning, and you can get very good deals and disc-
ounts when spending a few bucks. You will also find after sales support &
backup will generally be better & easier.
Just to confirm what Brad said, there was HUGE support provided to my
family by numerous bussinesses in the AUSTRALIAN MOTORCYLE
INDUSTRY after a recent seriuos injury. For this support i can never thank
them enough but to support OUR INDUSTRY and encourage everyone else
to as much as possible.
PLEASE KEEP SUPPORTING AUSSIE MOTORCYCLE INDUSTRY,in recent
times businesses are much more competitive with all the internet trading
etc. the deals are reasonable. Just remember that an O/S trader would
not likely help you out in the future if you were in a bit of a spot but a local dealer/business that you have a good rapport with would more than likley get you out of the sh#*.

Cheers Dean
