Hi Guys,
I got my girl friend a klf 220 work horse quad the other week. It has a knock in the motor when cold and goes away when hot.
I thought maybe piston slap. Pulled off top end all fine. measured bore and all good.
In the process of putting it back together I have found that the starter motor drive gear on the crank has a fair bit of slop in it. poss the problem. Its behind the magneto on these motors but I cant get it off with out the correct puller.
Does any one in sydney have one that I could use? There is beer in it for you.
