Hey guys.just a ? as to the progress regarding tha Aussie titles in Tassie in October. I have asked the ? a couple of times on the TAS state discussion section however , NO response. Just wondering if MA have a
finger on the pulse, if they are going to award these events do they not have a responsability to ensure the efficient/proffessional organizing and
running of these events.

People from all around Aust are making huge sacrifices to go to this event
however I think it is only fair that they be kept in the loop as to the
progress of the events organization.

Just my thoughts, would like to hear others and also know what is going on.

Cheers Dean

theirPease please don`t believe anything you here except from the host SCB / CLUB regarding the nationals, the same rumors were made known to members of the QRCV committee and are being spread by the same know-all who stated catagorrically that Yamaha had decided not to sponsor the 2007 nationals when we already had their money in the bank, so his information on this event has to be just another figment of his imagination, Husky there has been no approach to the QRCV so please don`t assume it will be held in Victoria. Thanks Hugh Smith, president QRCV inc.

there have been rumors to that effect getting around but I believe as far as MA are concerned it is all still going ahead in Tassie.

I have just spoken to Troy Smith the president of the Circular Head M/C Club today and he has assured me that progress on the 2008 Nationals is going ahead unabated and without a problem for the TASMANIANS, the so to all the rumor mongers and villians out there who THINK they know what is happening check your FACTS before talking to people who may be affected by your LIES and INUENDO, the nationals are in TASMANIA in 2008 and to quote a certain Mr. Rumble " BE THERE IF YOU DARE" ( no offence Derek I just love that line ) Hugh Smith .

Hi All

Just letting you know that the ATV Championships are still on in Tassie.

For those interested in heading south, Smithton is situated on the far North-West coast of Tasmania, in a region known as Circular Head. It's about 1.5 hours west of Devonport where the Spirit of Tas docks. The main towns are Smithton (the track is 5 mins away from the town centre) and Stanley (about 20km from track). Stanley hosts a Caravan Park and lots of B&B's. Smithton has the pub and Tall Timbers Hotel/Motel, where the presentation dinner will be held on Sunday night. The next closest accommodation is Burnie, which is about an hour from Smithton and 1/2 hour from Devonport.

The track is 1.6km long, made of natural terrain with man made jumps. There are two pit areas at the track, one will have trailer parking, the other will be for quick-shades. The Supp Regs will have further details, check the MA website when they are released.

If you want to know more about the area and accommodation, please visit the local Council website and the Visitor Information website:

www.circularhead.tas.gov.au

www.stanley.com.au

The Club's website is currently being updated (due to a recent change in committee) and we hope to have photos of the track and location posted on that site as they become available. Please bear with us while this is in progress.

From this point on, I hope to have regular updates as we finalise things, and look forward to seeing you in October.

For further information, please email me (kathymonson@bigpond.com) or the Club Secretary, Jandi Smith (secretrary@chmc.org.au).

Cheers
