heard mixed results regarding this mod, not sure on compression/carby/fuel ratios etc differences between the YFZ and YZF but dont after some stories ive heard i dunno if id be fiddiling with the cam timing (especially on a new bike under warrantee)

May be just me though being over cautious

i had bike shop do mine, picks up alot quicker i reckon but i also had it rejetted and k&n filter and powerlid at same time.

we did quite a few of our YFZ's like this and a couple of them with the full YZ450 cam change over, changing the cam timing like this moves the power a further up the rev range but will lose some grunt off the bottom. well worth doing for an MX quad.

Yeah tried this mod on mine, gotta say that i am impressed. So easy to do and feels alot nicer to ride.. Just popping and farting alot when i back off.
