Hi All
I have an outlaw 500 and the standard rear tyres are RS and I want to know what you guys think is the best replacement choice for mainly trail and some sand riding.
Maxxis Razor's ?
ITP Holeshot's ?
or something similar.
Cheers

I have the Razr 2's all round and I find they hook up really well. We ride 100 percent sand based trail here including a fair bit of river bed stuff. They haven't let me down yet. I put six holes in my OEM tyres in the first couple of weeks I had the bike, so the six ply construction is also handy when you're out in the middle of nowhere. _________________ I'm not suffering from insanity, I'm enjoying it!!! |

| I also run the Maxxis and am swapping all the time between sand, dirt and the hard stuff! Ive found them to be pretty good all rounder even without being fussy and adjusting pressure to suit terrain! |

i run Itp Track Stars they are great on dirt and sand if you gonna use one set of tires for both trail and sand riding this is the tier to go with.
i had them on my bike for a year now and still not one hole in them
just my opinion |

Choosing a best trail tyre is hard because there are to many variable to say 'yes, that one is best'.
If you are running mainly sandy trails and dunes though, tyre wear is not such an issue.
Something like the ITP GNCC would be great.
It has a centre rib design front which is good for steering in sand and a big open block pattern 11 inch wide rear (also ideal for sand).
I'm biased because I like ITP's.
But give Andy from Austraco a ring and see what he recommends.
You should find 'your perfect tyre' somewhere in ITP's range. _________________ Can-Am X Team
