Hi Guys,

Got my self a klf 220 for nicks the other day. Its for the girlfriend

I need some help but.

1 I got it going all seed good after trying for about 3 hours it had not been used in about 3 years. Rode it around for bit all seemed good.

I then changed the oil and spark plug. Started it up to hear a nice knocking noise when just off idle sound bad.

I let the bike warm up to operating temp noise gone.

I let it cool down and tried again same thing. Warmed up quite as a mouse.

I put 20/50 bike oil it it.

Any Ideas???

2 Where do they run the oil filter if any??

cam chain noise generaly get quieter - more of a knock/tick from top end !! but little end or piston slap will get quieter as things warm up and clearances get less. hope this helps
