i just redid my rego for stockton, cost me $305, costs a bit, but i surpose its worth it if something goes wrong, and to keep those dame rangers inline, although they'll prob try to get u anyway.

yeah man don't know, i payed $17 admin fee, $289 ctp premium, i already had plates though, it was just a renewal. had to say i had a horn though, cause it was a requirement, lol, i'll just rev.

Hey Ryan,looking at forms i picked up from local RTA on 9th Aug.Rego costs(since 1/7/06) are-Rego fee=$17+Plate fee=$34+CTP Fees=$403per year($289 country-not applicable)or $101 per Quarter.Monthly is quarterly divided by 3,rounded to nearest $=$34......Weekly rate is monthly divided by 4,rounded to nearest $=$9.TOTAL=$60.I will check again tomorrow.This is what i will be getting if 'still available'.

Visited the RTA again this aftnoon.Could have got minimum of ONE month for $85-($17-rego+$34-plate+$34-CTP )......OR....an UNREGISTERED VEHICLE PERMIT -maximum 28 days.Asked about 7day permit.---$27...Still need CUSTOMER ROADWORTHINESS DECLARATION declaring having BRAKE & TURN LIGHTS+REAR REFLECTORS+REAR VISION MIRROR+HORN.(Which i ticked the box-last time- saying i have them).Also need to show proof of ownership(receipt or previos rego).

Just phoned Metro servo(Lavis Ln).Asked about permits.NO PROBLEM.Seems rumours are just rumours.Was too late to get on to Port Stevens council but will check with them before 5pm tomorrow.

HAVE PERMIT-WILL TRAVEL. Phoned Port Stevens council but the person to ask was away for the aftnoon.Went back to RTA to be sure.Got a minimum 7day unreg vehicle permit 28/9>4/10.---$17 admin fee+$10 CTP.Total=$27.PS-You do not get a plate,just a piece of paper and a 'rego' type label.

Phoned the council again today.Sport & Rec officer was out AGAIN.Was told by someone else theres no change to whats been going on for the last 3 or 4 yrs.Permits for quads are & will be available at least untill mid nxt year on the annual renewal date.Price is now $30 p/yr or $10 p/w/end.I assume $15 for 6 mths.

went to rta today, got couple of forms..
aparently unreg vehicle 7 day permit covers you for ctp on stockton beach.
however no plate for this, dont you need a number plate to get a weekend pass of council? |

Seems like a negative.Just show the permit.It has the permit no. printed in big letters on the label.Ill use a label holder on the rear and the beach permit sticker on the front somewhere.

called council today and was told council NO LONGER give out the permits for stockton. NPWS do it no and they have not got any available at this time ( whatever that means) but should be good to go before easter. i was also told if NPWS were unable to issue a permit by that time riding on the beach should be ok as long as it is regestered ( or UVP), this all started because the local bike shop was telling me stockton is closed down which is not the case.

I made it to the RTA today before closing time.  Have unregistered vehicle permit/will travel.  All the same as last oct,$27 for one week over easter w/end.No nu. plate,just a rego type label with all the details on. I still have a current half yearly beach permit, so Im laughfing. :

redted cant wait to see you up there on the raptor .. arriving thursday now proberly in the arvo but thursday all the same. went to the RTA today and got the permit .... all goo now..... oh ho whats that i hear ??? i think a bottle of johnny walker is calling i had better attend to it, see you there guys ...cant wait
