If Black Duck is closed you'll see alot more people riding "illegally" in our state forests, edge of highways and housing developments etc etc. Only recently some bloke came off his bike in a state forest and was there for 3 days before anyone found him, if he'd being at Black Duck at least there would be others there to assist.
There has being a few fatal accidents there over the years and I believe the place needs better management and control of riders, such as like they do at Ski slopes with passes relating to rider capability but that all comes at a cost and people would have to fork out more than the $35/day. (which i think is fair enough but others still whinge about)
This country is going out of control and soon enough all the greedy litigation lawyers, tree huggers and people who just have no sense of adventure will be running the joint, or has that already happened. _________________ Yes i am a farmer, and NO that doesn't make me stupid, just MAD! The place doesn't need better management, people just need to know their skill level and the capabilities of their machines.
If they wish to do stupid things then they should be the ones responsably for aquiring the skills to do said stupid things not the management of the ride park be it bdv or any other.
I ride my 700 within my capabilities which is a long way off of what my bike can do and i will never blame a park for something that happens whilst i am enjoying my hobby as i know motorsports of any kind is dangerous and yes accidents happen.
If you are silly enough not to sight a track b4 going flat out you are asking for trouble anyway _________________ 08 700 raptor mine
