On the weekend while riding motocross on Pol525 my right knee collapsed while landing big jump. ( I was smash'em at the time) Q will knee braces help? if so what kind and how many dollars are involved . It was nearly a trip in the meat wagon.

Knee braces stop sideway and backwards movement. Unless this is the way your knee collapsed they wont help, They dont restrict any normal movement of your knee.
I have tried wearing my mates and they were apparently the right size, uncomfortable as all hell. _________________ Mic

They will only be like that for the first few rides Mic...once you get your head around them and try to ride without them it is like trying to ride without a helmet. _________________ www.quadsquad.com.au

I have just got a pair of EVS RS7's that cost around $700 for the pair (sold individually). I now feel naked if i ride without them. I have already had 1 total knee reco and its worth spending the $$$ on them instead of having to pay upwards of $1500 for a knee repair. _________________ KTM 450XC!!!WHAT MORE CAN I SAY!!!!!! |

| I wouldn't ride without my CTI braces. Have saved my knees on numerous occasions. |

I agree I have a set of Oneal revolvers, not to exy but they stop before your knee will over exstend, and protecs from any bumps or nocks on the tank in an agresive turn. My knees are week as, if they cop a hit on the inside just under the knee cap its all over for me. not to mention the amount of offs I have had latly, plastic on rock defenalty better than knee on rocks I have riden without them but now I swear buy them. _________________ 04 Polaris Predator 500 with mods
