ive seen one in the flesh. With the amount of fat people in america at an all time high, they needed a vehicle for these lazy drones who dont have the nuts for a real bike like a fireblade or gsxr. Hence the spyder.

Dont buy one, they are for pussies.....

There $25,990 + on roads, available at Melbourne Sea-Doo, Lingers Motorcycles (Alan Lingers shop in Tassy) and other BRP out lets.

Fully ADR'ed and taking the country by storm, very hot property, same engine as the Aprilla 990!! just restriced to 104Bhp!

Rekon they're going to sell well.

they are really good things.....and yes everyone doesnt stop staring at you when you go for a ride.....
only problem i have found with it is when you start pushing it hard through round abouts and the hills the traction control comes on too quick and cuts the power, have to speak to the sea doo guys bout it.....
got exhaust and different rims on it too Smile

Come on, make with the pics.

Does traction control mean no burnouts?

All the high tech safety features are built into the Spider...
But CanAm are all about building the best performing machines and recognise that we need to have some fun.
I think the traction control lets you get wheel spin off the line but starts to make things more sensible once you get over 50kmh.

It won't be long and someone will have all the race motor mads on a completely de-restricted Spider.
Going sideways on these things would have to be the coolest...
and pulling mono's would look just plain wrong.

Hey Jaden, why are you so against them. Tell us the truth. Is it just cause they are not a 2 stroke and 25 years old. Too much power for the old fella hey? I bet it would be a different story if they were called a Spyder R!
Mick@47

That last pic is the right hand drive model for you wierdo Queenslanders.
