the Renegade is getting set up for the safari, so there will be some extensive mod to get it fighting fit, stay tuned cos I imagine there will be a fair bit of stuff up here about it.

Like Petey said we've got a lot of developement work to do on all the bikes...

Congrats to bullet, lisa and smitty, but does't the renegade 800's capacity exceed the max of 700cc for quads in the 08 GCRs?

Hey guys thanks for the well wishes. It's pretty exciting times at the moment only got bikes last night so I can't wait to get on them. If anybody wants to know about our development process on the 450's or 800 feel free to ask as we will be more than happy to share info with everybody as I did with my LT-R's. Luddy the 800 is fine for the safari as its run under FIM rules. P.S. did you get that guard?

Yes it does for MA, but safari is an FIM event. 850cc limit.
The Renegade 800 being set up for the TP300 will be a 611cc and then will be set up as a 720 for Finke. Like they said, there is a lot of development work ahead.

Yeah, you've gotta make sure you're on the right Can-Am website
Tod: the little DS90X's look great and have all the specifications to match.
I have not actually got the bikes yet and there will be a lot of R&D to come.
getting up around the 110cc for the kids will be easy, it's the 125cc end that will be a stretch... but we've got plans
You'll have to wait for green plastics kits
Luddy (holeshot24): Yes the 800 is big at just over that. 806cc i think.
I will race the machine as a 654cc in Thumb Pump 300.
Which is basically the standard 650 outlander motor.
We have a custom engineering 720cc kit coming for Finke, and that will involve sleeving the std 800 barrels down.
Pitty to have to throw some of the awsome 800 grunt out the window.
Basically I'll be going from a Jumbo to a Monster Truck with handle bars.
Some of the R&D and learnings that Quad Squad is doing for the 800 will slip over to Smitty's Australian Safari bike.
We've got a tonne of work in this year and it's gunna be fun.
