Thanks to the national parks and police for there support.
There where plenty of spectators with cameras so we should see some good vids.
I couldn't get of the line as quick as big red, nor will I think I ever will ,I thought I would get him in the top gears ....but dam beaten by an old stinken banshee 2-stroke...

It was a good day yesterday, and congrat's "Big Red" and Zak on the turbo raptor who I saw both take the title away from Ash (for the moment).
There is one issue I think needs addressing, The free for all Drag Race. I'm surprised someone didn't go for a ride in the helicopter yesterday when about 15 quads were lining up and dragging. I was standing on the finish line and there were times where I was fearing for my life. The track was getting wider every time they raced, with people getting squeezed outside of the finishing posts, and crossing in front of each other at top speed. It wouldn't take much for a quad to go spearing off into the spectators and killing someone.
I think there shouldn't be more than 4 quads at a time in each race, this would make it a lot safer for everybody and give the spectators more to watch rather than wait 10mins between each race.
What do you think?

What a great effort by all especially to Ash for helping us get the Turbo bike out there after pulling the head stud out on friday arvo.
Thanks Ash for re welding the head and tapping it.

The outstanding thing is not which quad is faster. There will always be faster quads. But there will not always be respectable competitors who can carry themselves with dignity in defeat.
