Life truth : if you locked your dog and your wife in the boot for 3 hours your dog would be pleased to see you when you open it......  I'm 38 thats still only 7 and a bit in dog years....Have to spend some time with my b%$&h ocassionally....

hey what time does the bohle MX track open on saturday and sunday?
is it still $25 to get in?

| on saturdays he opens at lunch and sunday sometime in the morning, dont know the exact time. Its is still $25 to ride which i think is a load of crap as he doesnt prep the track or anything. |

i think one of my mates is already out!
broke his front axel (i think) 2000 ktm.... recon they will have stock in t'ville? hahahaha (doubt it!)
one less rider anyway!

did you guys endup going to the bohle mx track?
i went on sunday at like 3....hahaha
there where a couple of quads there tho left soon after we rocked up:D
definatly going back there!
need to get fit again! i could only do two laps at a time!
then i'd need a rest!
hahaha!
good stuff tho! would be cool to see some quads hitting that supercross track!
i'd give it a burl if they where table tops an not doubles! |

| had they cleaned up the supercross track cause it was over grown something horrid the other day. All the jumps are able to be done a quad on the supercross. The only jump that is hard is the first of the big doubles. You have to be flying to hit it but u just make it, well it scares the crap out of you as it cases and throws you around for the next one. |

yeah i think i'll wait till i can clear the table top at the back first!
i was only pushin into it in high 2nd an low 3rd making it around half way... was kinda too stuffed to push it too hard:D
made me feel like i cant ride very well at all!!! hahaha
but yeah first time on a half decent mx track...
i'll be back!

yeh we were packin up as you rocked in mate. i was on da yfz 450 and my mate was on a raptor 700.
My first time out there and its was great fun. it was good havin another quad there with me bit more fun chasin each other.
yeh i very unfit we were there for nearly 5 hours did bout 30 laps and i was stuffed. 4 laps at a time.
Is there any aftermarket parts i can put on to stop my arms bein so sore after half a lap pf riding? |

yeah i could keep my mate on his 2 strok 250... other then over the jumps (as he was clearing ...and overshooting em!)
was that yfz 450 the black an orange thing?!!! looks awsome!
i'll be keen as to head out there again next free weekend i have!
should all hit it up at the same time (my mates are useless i was ready to go at 8:30am got there at 3pm)
aftermarket parts for ya arms or the quad?
if you're like me you need dumbells or more riding!
more then one day a week occurance anyway! |

yeh thats mine only had it 4 months.
yeh i been keen to head back out there. would be good with more quads.
i need more riding i have only ridin it ten times at the most.
the bike just rattles all hell out of my arms from all the jumps and bumps
woke up very sore this mornin. will a steering dampener help that?

keep the front wheels off the ground? (all i do over bumps)
no idea about steering damper
(i always think that if theres something slowing the bumps then wouldnt there be more pressure needed to turn?)
yeah twin pipes look an sound purdy! i like it!
having IRS too helps over some of the off axis bumps (i think never really ridden much on straight axel quads) had my quad for like nearly a year now i think...
only bad thing yesterday one of my CV boot's come off (at least i think it came off.. yet to do a check on it!) hopefully i just gotta clean it back up and grease it back up!
if i broke it.... the last one the townsville polaris dealer took like 2 months to get the parts in....
how bout not this weekend comming (as it's easter) the weekend after...
saturday too if you're keen on riding other places!

well pencil that weekend in for now see how we go bit closer to then
hopefully it just a clean up job mate. this is my first quad slowly gettin the hang of it. heaps of fun but.
Its hard to keep the front down when you come out of corner just wants to lift. all part of the fun but. |

| To help stop arm pump is to keep riding. its the only way to get your arms stronger. mine are bad but i think i have that carpet tunnel crap. Steering dampners works like one in a car, takes out the harsh whips in your steering. Also is your suspension setup properly. It is a bit of a mongrel to do but when u get the drift of how it works, u can set them up well. If im not racing me and some mates mite come out for a ride with you fellas. |

my ability to ride this weekend comming is going to be dependant on a motorbike shop's ability to fix my bike!
(broke a rear cv boot:( on the hub not near the frame)
cant figure out how to take it off....
i think you just bash it off:D
ive taken the inside one off b4 and there was a pin holding it in.....
so yeah unless anyone else has any idea's then ummm suzki shops going to get it....
cant say they will be able to do it in time eather.....
i'll be pissed if i cant ride this weekend:( |

but me an my (2 wheeler) mates hit up the bohle track!
i m F#%^^N Rooted!
2-3 laps at a time!
overshooting all the small jumps an under shooting the big table top!
awsome tho just putting around till ya get to the jumps even:D
not sure next time i'll be allowed to hit it up:D

There would be a few different parts of the Burdekin River you could probalby ride in with out upsetting anyone i often see a few bikes, quads and mx down there. You would just have to sus certain areas out first as there is abit of debris in some parts after the floods.
