Clermont Motorcycle Club have set the date of 23rd & 24th of August for the Queensland State Quad Titles. Camping with Toilets and Showers available. Canteen available Friday and Saturday night. Some scutineering available Friday night.
I recieved this info. from Dingo555, any Dramas PM him.

thats the same weekend as the tri series in Tolleen in VIC. It will be a shame to see now big name riders there

its not the vics its everyone. there were 89 entries down there on the weekend. i spoke to lot of riders they said they would be keen to travel up. but all the pro riders want 15 min motos which i think is fair enough

so who makes the call? is it the commitee? I really think we will struggle for numbers with these dates its just my opinion i could be wrong. but what the point in holding a queensland title when there is a tri state title on in victoria.

pretty much any date anywhere this year now will clash with someone...We have tried to choose the best date for Qld. We are striving to make this an event to good to miss no matter what state you live in. IMO when you look at the drive and eagerness to succeed of the people involved in trying to organise this event and the sponsors already on board this is going to be a weekend to remember. Its a shame it clashes with the southerners but if we don't spend some time building and supporting the racing in Qld we will never reach the same level of competition that they are lucky enough to have so much of. Like I have said in previous posts build an event that the best in Oz won't be able to stay away from..............

Good to hear that the QLD titles are all go but a bummer about it clashing with the Tri state round, there is a lot of riders that wont be able to make it now.

I am guessing that all of the race teams will be going to the Tri-State if they have to choose. So will any media coverage (ATV-Action etc.). So other than it being called the QLD titles it is just going to be a small meeting if the date doesnt get changed.

Another team has jumped on board. Hardiman Kawasaki Race Team. Its gonna be some colourful grids this year and judging from the responses already recieved gonna be some full grids to.
