Is anyone travelling to Emerald on Sunday 16th March.
They have agreed to run a Quad Class if we can field 5 starters - minimum.
The track is sandy loam, should be fast for quads - very open racing.

| I would be keen to head out for a ride brooksy. I will talk with mingy and the rest of them to see if they are keen to head out. I think you should be able to get a few lads there as it is in the CQ area and there are a few of yous out there. |

| hey fellas kawa450 reckons there is a mx at rocky and needs numbers aswell. Very bad timing for these events. What should we do, get enough riders to race both events so we can get quad racing going around here? Im keen to ride both, and get it happening but its one or the other. |

The Rockhampton Club Day was originally set down for Sunday 9th but has obviously had to be rescheduled due to the rain.
We could probably scrape up at least 4 from Clermont to go to Emerald - but the more the merrier.
If we are smart we can get them going in both Rockhampton and Emerald if we plan it right.
Most of us are going to be riding at Moranbah Speedway on Satuday but some are prepared to make it a full weekend and support Emerald as well.
The next Rockhampton Club Day is set down for 6th April - should we all try to get to that one???? _________________ YFZ450 - Twice the wheels - Twice the fun!! |

Does that mean you will come to Emerald to help with the numbers and in return we all go to Rockhampton in a couple of weeks?
Its a long way for Landy and Mingy to drive if we cant get the numbers on the day. _________________ YFZ450 - Twice the wheels - Twice the fun!! |

| yeah im happy either way. i dont care where we are racing as long as i get to ride. As you said brooksy More the merrier would be good , but if we plan it right we mite be able to support both, thats if we have numbers around. Yous have plenty of quads out there but it depends if they are really keen to support this stuff. So if you get your numbers to ride emerald not including me and mingy, we both would be keen to head to rocky so we can make numbers there and get it going. I dont know honestly, as i said as long i can ride and lets get these clubs running us. |

Hello Gentlemen,
I would be interested in travelling to Rocky for the club day. Would there be day licenses avail? Would only be going as a sweep rider as I have been off the quad for some months and the fitness isn't that flash.
Would be keen to get back into the racing now that it has became closure to home. Did live closure to Brissy and did the travelling thing but stopped since moving to Gladstone.
cheers
Chris |

I have just been speaking with Peter Mason (President) & Vicki Mason (Secretary) of Emerald Motorcycle Club. Their Club Day this Sunday (16th) is DEFINATELY ON.
Time table for the day:
Gates open - 5am
Nominations from - 7am
Machinery - 7.30am
Practice - 8am
There are hot showers if anyone wants to camp. If you are thinking of travelling up the day before ring Vicki (0438 138 755) to arrange to get into the track.
They reminded us that we need 5 Quads MINIMUM to be able to run!!!! _________________ YFZ450 - Twice the wheels - Twice the fun!! |

| yeah im keen to ride either one but we have to make a decision on what to do. There are apparantly a fair few quads out cq so we shouldnt have trouble with numbers. how many are riding emerald and how many are riding rocky? |

I don't know how the trip back to prossie was... I was asleep.
New cast Bearing carrier, chain and sprockets, and a new jet for the carby (it wasn't broken but we are playing with the jetting).
The chain adjuster that had the bolt we thought bent was worse than it looked. The bolt was fairly straight and the outside part of the carrier was bent. We couldn't work out what let go for that to happen because when we took it apart everything was tight. _________________ Mic
