Come on up to Forsayth on the 15th & 16th. Heaps of riding to be had up there.
There are a few of us heading up on Thursday so we can get an extra days riding in.

used to have cungulla.... but i havent been game to go back due to hearing about the men in blue....

ive heard a few things about the power line tracks and been along one from around the bohle mx track that goes all the way to deeragun

there's suposed to be one that goes from there to kelso also

we mainly ride around mt lousia as it's easy for us as we live in crestbrook:D

i heard the bohle track is and has been closed for a few weeks/months
but not sure if it had....

I just moved up here and I really only know of the bohle mx complex. There isnt much around to ride as there are to many old whinging bastards around. Ive heard of a few tracks around here but the owners wont let anyone ride there as they are worried about being sued if someone gets hurt. The only places to ride is when we race. Also heard of some back tracks but buggers me where they are.

apparently cungulla is ok to ride at but you have to unload and load your bike on the beach. if you park ur ute at the start of the track to the beach and ride in there will be cops waiting when you get back

thats what i hear anyway

yeah beach mount is ok if you just want to go around in circles and cruise around. heard residents there are starting to get the s#$ts with people racing around there as there has been a few near misses. Apparantly the bohle should be open this weekend. Probably head out there sunday for a ride if nothing bad happens at charters towers.

Went out to the bohle sunday and checked it out. The stadium mx strack is over growen and rutted. The mx track is pretty good but there is still water around and mud puddles in places. It would be good if they done some maintances around the tracks. Would be good if we all catch up and go for a ride some where in townsville one day soon.

well there is racing in emerald and rocky so count me out now. I dont know which one to ride as it is a first for quads at each event. You guys should get setup for racing and come for a squirt. Its good fun and good people to meet and race with. More riders the better as this year is going to be a big year for quad racing so we need to go out in force and make the clubs see us and let us ride. Its all about having fun and having ago. Also you get to make good friends and travel around. Cant go wrong. Also they are making womans classes for quads in mx and already in flat track, now so that would be awesome to get them out there and enjoy it aswell.

hey landy, if your going to Emerald you could stay in Moranbah Sat nite and race speedway as well (supply a bed for ya no probs). Small town club trying to raise money to bring track to championship status so no prize money, no trophies, just purely for bragging rights, if you have a MA liscence its a real cheap nights racing. At this stage we have 9 confirmed fellas and 7 sheilas. We have people from Clermont (1/2 way between Moranbah and Emerald) racing here and at Emerald Sunday......

Yeah dingo me myles and mingy are in talks of racing moranbah then drive to clermont and stay at myles place or something like that so we can race emerald the next day. But just found out that rocky is holding an mx to so also would like to do that. But both clubs need 5 quads to start and we need to support them so we can get racing happening around here. It wont be worth owning a quad! We have to support them otherwise its going to end up like up here NO QUADS ALLOWED. Its a shame that they are running on the same day but there are plenty of quads around cq and they should get out there and support the clubs. Are you or any other quads going to race one of these mx aswell as speedway?

The Minister for Finance and Marital Harmony has told me if I don't get some work done on the kitchen I'm installing I'll be eating with the dog Yuck Hrm . I only started it in October can't see her problem. Evil or Very Mad Maybe its the fact I told her it would only take me 2 weeks laughing laughing Sorry I can't make it. Just need to get a few weekends away from quad related activities and regain a few brownie points laughing laughing

Fortsayth is near Einasleigh.
From Townsville you would probably go up Harveys Range & north through Greenvale then to the Lynd Junction & Einasleigh & then Forsayth.
From Cairns we're looking at a 5 hour drive. I think it is a bit less from Townsville.
See you there
Peter
