Hey posty, how'd Kingaroy go??
I was spewing I couldn't get there. Spent all afternoon going over my bike, only to find I couldn't get it started to load on the tilly (was running fine through the week). Pulled everything apart and can't find the reason, she's got everything it needs to go but still no bang, so
NOT HAPPY JAN! |

Sounds like it could b traced back to Connondale when you're battery kept draining maybe related,,,and Roma when it stalled ,,,,it could be electrical I'm thinking start simple kill switch and go through to cdi let me know how you go. Kingaroy was pretty good got 11 with the return of Blackburn, pity you couldn't make it I think the spectator's really would have got their monies worth. Uphill start was pretty neat with a horse shoe hole shot 4th pinned ,pretty much 4th and 5th gear flat the whole way . I done a 180 degree turn on the 4th corner in the first race to see that there was 6 people behind me , so I turned back around and battled for 4th with Udy in both races [third race cancelled due to dust factor] Final Results
1 Blackburn
2 Sherlock
3 Gilbert
4 Postie
5 Udy

| I checked the killswitch connections and plugged the standard cdi in but still no change. Good to see blackburn at a race, that would be a first for this year, thought barry would have got second for sure? How far behind barry were you? Pitty about the third race must have being pretty bad. When you get the right shocks mate you'll feel much more comfortable, it seems no-one has a set lying around either huh. |

| Udy is doing an out of the box race ready bike test for ATV action , Kingaroy he rode a DS650 so he was good for me to battle with and Hervey Bay he should b on a KFX450 so that should be interesting to. Blackburn said he wont make the nationals but is gonna try for the Qld Cup, he also told me he has been doing a fair bit of motard and had an easy win in New Caledonia earlier in the year , still on the 04 TRX450. |

"Ruff as guts" or so i've heard , whooped out sandy natural terrain as far as I know good practice for Perth hopefully. I didn't ask Blackburn if he'd b coming but it would be good value for the spectator's if you did both make it , If not I'm sure JB83 would enjoy the company . It's on 17 september should be room on the grid for about 6 or 8 more . Can anybody add any mor track info |

Postie what do ya mean I might not enjoy the company? cause I may have to work for a win I'll give a brief description of Hervey Bay.
Day before the race:- Shift all dairy cattle off the track area and peg out a few corners............................. thats about it.
The most exciting part would be the bore drain jump which would be a whole of 2 foot, WOOHOO. I'll go cause it's a track that'll keep you fit due to the neverending whoops that form after practice. I just hope they don't make us do 20 minute motos there again _________________ Yes i am a farmer, and NO that doesn't make me stupid, just MAD! KTM 505sx, the chicken splitter |

I reckon leave the cattle , it might give the advantage I need . Jeez Ihope this track is as good as you guys say it is , the drive home has been rougher than the last two round's . I see the grid might get a bit wider yet , 450YAM said a coupla guy's might come down from up north, if everone turn's up it'll be the biggest Quad turnout in Chunder X to date, and with a bit of hard work the best racing we will see in Qld untill the CUP . Hey fourtrax what's the chances we could round up another coupla troop's to try and push for another class , I'm thinking run a clubman 10 min moto and then kick back and watch the pro 15/20 min moto , it'd be good to see another quad race for a change |

I reckon we have a chance. After the wife done 3 round's solo female, Jenna Wilson [ranked 3rd bike enduro] jumped at the chance to trial a Blaster on the Kingaroy track for her first quad experience , and her first word's were "that is better than any amusement park ride I've ever been on" . then she went back and told her friends in the *"Husky Chix"* tent that as luck would have it Geoff Udy Has got hold of 4 Blaster's for H/Bay and all are available for a test ride, needless to say the seat's were taken before the second round . I think once the guy's see "Laides" out enjoying the ruff stuff we might draw a few competitors and have a chance at another grade hey if a few more guy's turn up we might have a split grid ,at least it's a start . I dunno know what it is about this natural terrain but as ruff as it is I can't wait to see how ruff it's gonna get next time.

| As far as I know 16, still only seniors in Qld, unfortunately I don't know of any junior classes running as yet, although if the number's and interest is out there there is no reason there couldn't be. |

Yeah once the bikers see the chicks throwing themselves at quadriders they'll be lining up to buy a quad. The "Husky Chix" had a crack last year at the QLD champs and loved it, we went for a ride at black duck and under the careful eye of myself and China we tought them a few quad tricks. Good to hear they want more of the four wheeled action.
Postie the bikes going to the doctor this week, after stripping everything on the weekend, still can't find the problem. Hopefully will be going for Maryborough this weekend _________________ Yes i am a farmer, and NO that doesn't make me stupid, just MAD! KTM 505sx, the chicken splitter
