it depends on the amount of other stores nearby and how many quads are in the area.

This could sound stupid but... Most of the quad shops around Australia ship alot of parts and what not around the country, so as long as you have a transport depot not to far away you could have it close to where ever you live and just pick somewhere you like to live. (if you don't already own a house here) Smile

You should put the URL for your store in your signature. Smile

Gday Viper

Where to open a store? OK what do you want to supply?

You say atm you have an onlline business and I take it thats the range you are going to continue with? Just parts, accassories, clothing?

Then of course you want to be located next to a store that sells a lot of Quads. Half the Quads In Australia right now are sold in WA. Latest figures from OZATV magazine.

So Perth is probablky a good bet and they have a great race scene, but its very isolated from the rest of the country by distance, and I dont know how saturated their market is in terms of supply, in fact I dont know that for anywhere for you.

Racing is the only legal form of quad riding in Australia except for rural properties. The exception to that is Tasmania which does allow you to Recreationally Register your quad to ride on bush tracks.

Now thats thats not to say it doesnt happen in other states but you have to know the state of play, if it is happening in other states it is either illegal, at a ride park (very very few) or an expempt area, even less of those.

However, in spite of the sales figures the busiest section on the site by far is QLD, what are they talking about doing? Riding I assume, so theres another big indicator.

But NSW and Victoria have the biggest populations, does that mean they have the most bikes or racers?

A lot of questions I cant answer. But my best answer is right next door to the biggest ATV selling store in Australia! Good luck in finding that.
