Just heard last night at the club AGM that because of the stupid actions of a couple of riders at an event last year that we are now not welcome back at that property.
This property was the venue for one of the best enduros for the year,
The so called quad riders diverted from the set track to take a short cut, doing so damaging the property owners crops.
This in my eyes is not only cheating but thoughlesly putting the entire club in jepordy of never returning, I do not blame the property owner at all and would have banned the club myself if this had happened on my property.
Anyway, thanks to those riders and may they have bad luck all year.. _________________ Andrew |

Hope so, and if you need to take short cuts to win you don't belong in the race.. _________________ Andrew |

.....but its got nothing to do with quads. A bike could have diverted; a bike rider could have cheated.....it has to do with the individual not the vehicle he was on.
Find the culprits, speak to the property owner and get him to send the pricks a bill for damages.

I'm afraid that happens nearly everywhere. At Hattah last year they in no uncertain terms annouced - one wheel on the crop= instant disqualification! which I think is fair enough.
I can't see why they do it - because when it comes down to it they are defeating themselves cause not only is it not in the spirit of the event but it screams that they can't cut it without cheating.
I tell my kids that it's ok to finish last if you have honestly done your best. And there is no honor in lying to yourself.
Last year we had one rider pass one check point 13 times and the other never saw him.
I think that even if the land owner volunteers the use that the organisers really need to give him cash or like, because he's a jolly good fella doesn't always entice a good experience for them. Even if it costs competitors an extra $5-$10 most wont mind at all.
I agree with linc - send them a bill from the club and from the farmer _________________ Family is most important.... next is our quads |

we have the same type of issues over here . we have a quad only track and about every 2 months people on two wheel bikes cut the fence down and go for a joy ride around the track and tear the poop out of it then leave. leaving us with a messed up track and a cut down fence..like you guys these are the type of people that have no respect for the land or the people around them.. they are the ones that give all bike riders a bad rep.. _________________ Sponsors ,Cullys Yamaha,Pirtek Malaga

That's just it, we don't have prize money, I race for fun and have a damn good time at it..
One of the culprits has just spent heaps on a bike, I would like to see it removed from racing for a few events... _________________ Andrew |
