I can beat most 450's out of the corners and down the straights, just when it gets to the tight stuff it hurts me, but when the 700 hooks up right it is a rocket off the line while the 450 guys are still changing gears.... laughing

thats correct mr yogie oh a second time and no there will not be a 3rd !!! laughing
i would like to say alot of the speed of bikes comes down to about 70% the rider knowing how to ride and shock set up.you can have all the power in the world but if you dont know how to put that power to good use its all usless.. Very Happy

i havent told you this yet barry but i may aswell now lol.

i was on a field with 2 rap 700's and we had a drag from a dead stop, all 3 bikes stock , i thought i would get off the line and then they would come back, well i pulled straight off the line and they didnt come back where both dead even 2-3bike lengths back.

but yeah depends on rider 99% of time i reckon, you aint goin no where if you cant shift/ride ect

Sounds like the Raptor 700's are pretty torque'd, what are they like compared to the kfx 400 as in trail-riding on hills and stuff?

700 forsure...
I have mates with brand new bikes 700's and 450's, piped and k@n air filter mods, that's it...

The 700 with a 130kg guy blows the 450's with 80 kg blokes on em...easy

But they still can't see which way I go on my lil machine laughing laughing laughing
