hi, there will be sand drag racing here in sa on the 16th of feb with over $5000 prize money  , i have never been but spoke to one of the guys today all it cost is $25 to get in the gates 50cc to unlimited v8s,
go to www.ponde.com there is u-tube footage. i would love to see some of your drag machines ; also kick some two wheel but.

Wow didnt even no it existed looks like a biki put on event.
The v8 motorcycles dont seem to get of the line very quick but come home REAL strong,By The size of there roost they would be over 300hp.
How many quads turn up?

ponde has been around for years, run by the hells angles , i know of one quad but its only a stock yfz450 , but there might be a ktm there not sure yet , you dont just drag other quads you drag anything v8 custom harley bikes, over the years a few guys form the club have been and people we dont know on quads but there not real drag quads.you entre on the day so they dont know how many will turn up.

With the pond you can race anyone and everything but if your to fast your ride becomes the propery of hells angles....lol

its more of a family event these days.
scooters and nifty fifties and the like.
not this one ash, and big red but the next one in approx 6months, i will be there waiting for you at the start line.
due to family issues i cant make ths one. |
