the ltr my brother got
has had the rear chain sprocket changed to a 38 tooth
now i feel there is something wrong with his tire size
his rear wheels are razor2 maxxis 20-11-9
and his front are oem 20-7-r10
so his back end isnt lower
what is the correct size tire to use on front?
he mainly rides the dunes and trail riding
he doesnt want to use the stock 8 inch rears
is changing the rear sprocket a good idea to suit the maxxis rears
cheers

Keep the 8 inch rims for sand and throw on a set of 20's.
Lots of side wall works well in sand.
Razr2 rears have a very agressive shoulder that is not ideal for sand.

I'd go 21 inch at least on the front for a general all rounder.
The Razr2 fronts work well in sand because of the centre mohawk tread design.

If he doesn't want the 8 inch std rears I'll swap him for a set of 9 inch std Honda (bolt straight on).
PM me.

I'd be lookin at a 21 or 22 inch one the front to keep the F/R chassis balance.

we normally change the front sprocket to a 13t rather than change the rear (doesn't effect the chain length as much) to suit when we put 20 inch rears on for enduro/trail riding
