Guys,
This 430 acre property is now available for those looking for a legal place to ride. At this stage there are no facilities on the property so it is probably only suitable for a day ride until the shed, water and power go in later this year. The property is approx. 2 hours northwest of Melbourne via Ballarat. I will be down in Melbourne this weekend for a week and am planning on having my first ride (if the wife lets me use her bike) at the block next Saturday the 16th of Feb. If anyone is interested in using the property at any time please PM me or give me a call on 0417 525 495 for directions. The usual common sense rules will apply to anybody using the property and as I am assuming that the area is still tinder dry, spark arrestors must be in and no fires are to be lit until we can install designated fireplaces.

Arron

Wow Fossil nice work mate! Just where is this place located exactly? Maybe it could be a good place to hold a QRCV Enduro one day

Very hot and dusty, but come colder and wetter months, this place has huge potential all 430 aches, and is about 5kays from a state park... laughing

Yes definitely looking forward to riding it later this year in cooler conditions. The block has some very challenging terrain with several steep and rocky hills to climb (almost front flipped the wifes bike in one gully) which should be fun with water added. Yogie and the guys found a number of good riding trails adjoining the property also. We should probably look at marking out some circuits the next time I am down.

Thanks for the feedback Fox'n. It was good to catch up with a few fellow riders on the day and I'm glad everybody had a good time. You can post the photos on this thread if you like or shoot them to me on clanmcleod4@bigpond.com.

LOL laughing laughing laughing

Didn't actually see Yogies "decorations" as such but Mrs Fossil's metal detector started smoking every time it was pointed in his direction. I wonder if Yogie's middle name is Pearce. laughing

I will be down in Vic again in April if you are up for a ride then and hopefully we will have had a crap load of rain by then.

Moving right on here... Very Happy Dont worry about the metal detector over loading, judging by all the wealth the GLW dug up, you'll be going there for a long time yet, come on the rains I say.

And this much I'll say bumble, this a big property, you'll even get lost out there. Very Happy
