The Rockhampton & District Motocross Club will be including a Quad Class at their club days this year. Julie Newsome (Secretary - 0419 025 716) has advised that they need at least 5 quads to run the class.
Dates are as follows:
Sign-On - 24.02.08
Club Day #1 - 09.03.08
Club Day #2 - 06.04.08
Club Day #3 - 4.05.08
Club Day #4 - 22.06.08
Club Day #5 - 13.07.08
Club Day #6 - 17.08.08
Club Day #7 - 05.10.08
Club Day #8 - 26.10.08
Club Day #9 - 16.11.08
It is advised to check with the Secretary prior to travelling to attend the Sign On as the track has gone under water with the recent floods, and dependeing upon damage the Sign On may have to be rescheduled. |

| Haven't ridden a quad there but have walked that track for 20 years and watched our kids on 2 wheels for the same amount of time. The soil is similar to Gum Valley and the new track at Ayr. Should be awesome!!! |

| i have heard there are a few quads down in rocky, so hopefuly the motorbike shops and advertisemets will get some quad riders attention and come out for a spin. ill try and get a hold of dan conway as i think he lives there and mite know a few of them |

Julie Newsome (Rockhampton Motorcycle Club Secretary) has just advised us that the scheduled sign on set down for this Sunday (24th Feb) has been CANCELLED due to the flooding and extreme wet conditions at their track.
Their sign on will now be held on 9th March, which unfortunately clashes with the Natural Terrain at Serenity Park, Charters Towers. |

hey brooksy i will be suprised if they can sign on in 3 weeks on the news tonight they ars predicting the river to be 10 cm higher than 2 weeks ago so the track is going under water again

HI GUYS I WENT OUT TO THE ROCKY MOTOR X TRACK AND WALKED IT TODAY THEY HOPING TO HAVE IT READY BY NEXT SUNDAY OR THE ONE AFTER I WILL TRY TO CONFIRM A DATE TOMOROW AND LET EVERYBODY KNOW SO WE CAN SEE WHOS KEEN FOR A RACE
I AM NO EXPERT BUT IT LOOKS LIKE AN OPEN STYLE TRACK WITH ONLY A COUPLE OF TIGHT TURNS LOTS OF FAST CORNERS SOME GOOD JUMPS CAN BE ROLLED OVER OR JUMPED

| Apparantly Emerald is having a mx club day on aswell this sunday. Would be keen to go but so far i have got plans for emerald mx. We will have to find out whos riding where as if there are plenty of numbers at one track, some people might be able to attend the other to make the numbers. Would be good to get numbers at each track to support quads at each club so we can get them up and running. This year is looking good for quads to race as there are so many events that we can ride, just its not going to work with race meets on the same weekend. keeps us upto date with numbers as we mite have to work something out. |

yer cam spoke to some people in rocky its still on and quads are a go. we could be a bit short on numbers. well i now theres from only 3 of us that are rideing that rode in emerald.
