Latests results from WA ! The other States should be on there toes when they race at the up and comming Nationals! It goes to show how fast they are at the moment . If I was a betting man and all goes well ,I would put my money on Ant Yewers as favourite as the national champions at Wanneroo.
I know how desparate this man can be if he really wants to win ! Well done Ant goin good for an oldie! Ant Gust on a Honda ? Laughing
Who do you think will win?

Actually thats the results of Race 1 of the 4th round
Ant broke his ankle in that race and still won... he went on to race the remaining 2 races and won the round
Race two was being led by Chad Mckay by quite a distance, until the mud sucked him onto the berm....
Race three Brenton was winning and his Bike stopped.... GT won that race...Ant second.
Lancaster is missing off your List....??

was an eventful race meet, with 19 clubmans racing in their race it was an awesome day

i wouldnt rule out LB just yet as with the extra experience he has gained over last 12 mths would be a great benefit too but will be a close battle with a few names there

I voted for paul smith, thats only cause I want him to win Very Happy . If Rory Hare was going I would have voted for him. But other than that I think Adam may be in with a shot.

I would have to say that all the riders nominated have a fairly good chance of winning - Ant had his first ever win in the last state round(4), and he is stoked, now he has to get over his broken foot, he did say to CB that if he won a round outright and beat him he would retire - dont think thats gonna happen anytime soon. Cool Cool Cool Very Happy Very Happy Very Happy

Thanks for update ,Ant hasn't changed a bit ,rode with a broken ankle ???? :roll:MMM Maybe a bit hard for him to win now but if anyone can come back and do it ,he can !!! Yeh there are a lot of good riders up there and I left Rod Scale and some others out because I have heard they are not racing or havent seen em race ... Its a tough one but CB and LB would have to be up there as favorites. Whoever it is that wins ,its sure exciting for the sport and really looking forward to the event.

Its ok Mick we wont hold ya back from being who ever ya want to be and if its a p.... so be it Laughing Mate I agree ,West Aussies of coarse will be hard to beat ,especially on home turf . Please remember one thing the sport in NSW is nowhere near the caliber it is In Vic or WA or Qld for that matter...We have only two pro riders(and One Pro Woman rider), and they have not raced MX all year Crying or Very sad .Hopefully this will change in the near future and maybe a Quad version of Chad Reed will evolve...so enjoy the glory while you can groover Razz

I'm hoping Smitty will get up this year after his antics last year.

If not GT is very consistent over the 2 dayers and that seems to be what always win the overall at this event.

I'm hoping for #1 Smitty #2 GT #3 Luke

but i think it will be #1 Chad #2 Chris #3 Smitty.

If we end up with a machine-devouring track, my money is on the carefully calculating oldies, such as GT.
If it's smooth sailing all weekend, i'd say any of the eager young WA boys will have it.
