What is the go?
Are bearings better than brass bushes with grease niples?
Or are bushes better?
Let us know your opinions & comments
We bushed the banshee instead of using the roller bearings.
Has anyone done this & if so how long did it last?
We were told it would outlast the bearings, but it will take a while before we find out.
I would love to get my hands on a lathe & make brass bushes for the suspension parts though.

mmm i would say brass bushes for parts that are not doing a 360deg movment and keep well greesed and brearing for parts that are always doing contuinous movment ie wheels ..brass should be good for supention parts but keep in mind that if brass last longer than bearings then somthing else will probly wear out at the same time like the housing that the brass bush is inor the pin??

at the end of the day i would stick with bearings in as much as posable..

in theory brass should work for swingarm bushes in the same way it works for a arm bushes as they have a limited travel range, having said that you have to make sure they are being greased regularly and bear in mind that the swing arm pivot has a lot more pressure on it than the lighter front end parts.

Put a new Pivot Works kit in the Raptor this week, brass bushes and roller bearings, Original bushes in Raptor were hardened plastic looking things, and shagged out really bad, anyways I will post how it holds up.

Was real easy to install with press etc, hardest thing was taking off press and checking depth of bushes so often so it was correct..
