Local rag had an article on quads which said atv sales were up 10% in 2007 with 55% of national ATV sales going to WA. I don't doubt it, seams like every ute or trailer I pass has a quad hangin off it, I just wonder where they are all riding. _________________ 05 400ex

I agree there's a lot here. Quite a few chinese s**t quads though unfortunately! seems like people buy them cause they are cheap then get rid of them soon after! (hopefully to upgrade to a big brand?) _________________ 08 Raptor 250 (missus)

Yeah but the chinese quads are a good starting bike i had 3 of them
my son still races one quite competativly but we have now got
him a trx 90 to move up to & all the other quads have been upgraded as well
Atleast these cheap bike are getting more people interested in quad riding
the more the better
and most i know of have upgraded to better known quads quite quickly

Hello EXrider.. there is a quad only track in a area called woodridge .thats not a bad track .. on the ride days its mad for its all quads and you get a ride about every 20min.. i will PM you the details for its on another forum and i dont want to get busted for puting it up here..you get a big diffrence in riders from Ant (N#22) to beginers and from 50cc to 700cc guys and girls...they have ride days once a month . the last one was good it was a evening one but most are on sunday mornings. once you join you get a key to go in there anytime you want.almost like your own private track _________________ Sponsors ,Cullys Yamaha,Pirtek Malaga

Chinese quads were not included in the figures I used to construct the article. A more detailed breakdown than what I published in the paper can be seen here http://www.atvpod.com.au/news/2008/January/atv_sales_australia_2007.asp _________________ Trev

Not suprising that the Raptor 700 was the highest selling sports quad given it's an all-round usage appeal.
