Knock yourself out , but it seems as though 8 out of ten posts in the QLD section are regarding events - trail rides, quad musters etc, will be a bit quiet in here.

And you wonder why the QLD quad club is the way it is ---- every one is trying to slip one under the belt of every one else - little digs make big holes
The reason behind my statement was
(1) why make it sticky --- if its popular it will stay on the top of the QLD section. guys like me and plenty of others will read it once and will support it if we are interested
(2) why put it in the event section? Its an event isn’t it ---- and in the event section you will expose it to other ppl from other states --- isn’t that the idea of the event section?

From my point why write a post about trails in this section when its not even on the screen for all the sticky posts --- you have to scroll down to read it

Any way if your looking to slip in a other low blow just ask your self what your looking to achieve and where you wont this to end and is it worth it?

I know its an open forum ---- do you?

If you would like something stickied PM me. Smile
Same if you dont like something here, let me know and I will try to fix your problem.

I haven't been on here much, travelling for work now and helping Mum move house so I dont have as much time as I used to.

The race dates were stickied because I was asked to make them a sticky and I thought it was a good idea. If some of them were not they would be down the bottom of the screen and people who do not come on here often would not see the dates for races. Smile

Thanks

Thanks Huge. Smile

As for the racing stickies, I have spoken with Patrick (Admin) about breaking up the QLD section. Possibly into 2 or 3 sections, Racing, social riding and a QLD General Chit Chat. Would that be a good thing or just leave it how it is? As I said that is only talk so no promises. Atleast if that happened there would not be any need for stickies because it would all be in a specific place. Smile

Top idea Mick. I know we need support from the other states but we also need to grow the Qld racing pool and keep race dates fresh in everyones mind. A lot of events listed are social rides and it gets very hard to narrow down the Qld events

Just leave it mick --- all sounds too hard
Don’t change this section around it’s a waste of time
We arrange all our rides via SMS now anyway
So keep it your way and happy days to all

Over and out Huge

I didn’t once say I liked it in fact I think its wrong

I think splitting the QLD section will do nothing to help the growth between MX and trail rides in this state and with out both I think any club will struggle
Yes most MX guys ride trails and know trail riders - and most trail riders enjoy going to the racers ---- but there is not a big effort to support each other in a club environment.
I know ppl are going to say the quad seen is only going to be what we as a group will make it -------- I agree and yes last year at manar was a good example (mx riders came and supported trail riding) thanks guys

So splitting the forum is in my opinion just an other step backwards for QLD quaders and the QLD quad club
If this is the way you think is best for the future of QLD quad riding --- cool who am I to upset your plans?

I would also like every one here not to take me the wrong way (I an not against MX quad style) I try to get to every round I can --- I even offered to personally sponsor a class at last years titles (no response) ---- sh#t I was even keen to become a Clark of course (what ever that is) so we could hold more Quad only events here in QLD

Any way I am going trail riding ----- see ya (HUGE) laughing
