Hey guys, im trying to organise a trip to indy this year and wouldnt mind hearing on the best way to do things in terms of accomodation, track passes etc...

we arent loaded so we're thinking of staying offtrack somewhere like the q1 building and getting silver or gold track passes.

will it still be good without track views? hopefully there is a large group of us good mates goin so im sure we'll have a good time no matter what, but are we still gonna get the full indy experience?

let me know how you did it!

thanks, mark.

Hey Mark, Indy is still awesome with out track views as it is much more fun walking around having a good time with everyone, it is like one big party the whole time and everyone has a great time, if you can make it you deffintely wont be dissapointed.

you carnt see much of the track no matter where you are,so i just head for the area near the top of the track with the bars and music

you will probably struggle to get a good spot on track now anyway... there booked out well in advance, stay off track, even get a cabin in a holiday park near-by and taxi it, its a heap of fun, i went with the missus and still had a ball with a group of guys i met from melbourne....

Gotta go mate, you'll love it

I always stay on track and swear I'll never do it again but end up in the same building each year. On track is great for watching the cars go past then watching on tv and back again. Always good to see some topless women around the place too but it really, really sucks when they put cars on the track at 730 every morning and you're still drunk and just want to sleep. I stay at the south end of the track which is only 5 min walk from the night life which comes in handy when they tell you you've had to much and it's time to go home
