Bike & Power at Dural should be able to get the whips they put on the Polaris 90's for you. They have a spring on the bottom that is great. Just take the flag off the whip & make your own.
I have had 3 solid mount whips & snapped them all the same day I put them on. _________________ If it's not upside down, you're not trying hard enough!

How tall is the whip?
How is it attached to the grab bar? Quick release, bolted, spring, etc?
I'm thinking of importing some whips from the States. 6' with a quick release attachment. No flag. About $80AU, anyone interested? _________________ Don't close your eyes during the crash, you'll miss the best part |

Damn.... i got excited when I seen the topic... only whips for quads, thought it was one for me to use on the missus
Don't see many whips here but they are available from toyworld, just need to modify the bracket on the bottom and away you go... _________________ Andrew |

John, how will you be importing the whips?. According to my supplier, customs have returned all of the units she had sent to me as the parcel size was 2" over their size restrictions. _________________ I'm not suffering from insanity, I'm enjoying it!!! |

Had it sent over with some work related items which came in today.
Will post pics tonight.
If anyone is serious I can have some available for Australia Day weekend and bring to Stockton. Remember though, no flags are included. _________________ Don't close your eyes during the crash, you'll miss the best part |

Flags are the easy bit. Go to your local sign writter & they will have some fluro orange sign vinyl. Cut your shape & then wrap around pole with some double sided tape. All done! _________________ If it's not upside down, you're not trying hard enough!

Pics of the 8' whip I got. It's a 2 piece pole made of hi-resin fiberglass to minimize forward flexing during braking and cornering.
It's attached via a coupler. The coupler is bolted unto the grab bar.
Benefit of the coupler is when (not if) you roll your quad the whip separates from the coupler without breaking.
There is NO FLAG INCLUDED.
If you want one for Stockton let me know and I can bring one with me. I should be able to get some more prior to the Australia Day long weekend.
$80.

Hi guy's, I have whips in stock they are 6FT high and have an orange flag included. they mount via a removable billet alloy mount.
$50 plus $10 freight
No offense to the polarise ones but when i came off the back off my quad the flag came with me a ripped my pants wide open! and then i had to go and buy a whole new flag because the bottom mount was part of the flag.
Cheers,
