Just throwing the thought out there. What if aussie shops eg. Hardiman's (dont mean to target him) pay a small cost to have banners put up around the track and/or have a stall with spares and aftermarket parts etc. to sell and make a name for themselves....... So they are basically an event sponsor.
Whatdo you guys reckon????

Jaden, if you can let us know when you find out that would be good, we can't make it to the nationals so were planning on coming up from sa for that event. Will have to change plans if it gets canned.

It was scheduled for early December but we've still got to make sure the events going to be viable first. I know Laurie (last years promoter) had alot of trouble getting sponsors for the event, lucky e-ton piped up because up till that point the main sponsor was a fish and chip shop(apparently)? Hopefully some main stream manufacturers will take a bit more notice of how successful the weekend was, everyone went away with a smile on their face.

Um let me see!!!!!
Snapped the center out one of my hipers going over a jump, broke battrey terminal, flat tyres in two races on borrowed rims, top A Arm bolt broke sending me over the bars cracking my wrist.
BUT WORST OF ALL CHINA BEAT ME IN ONE RACE THATS SOMTHING I DON'T THINK I'LL EVER GET OVER BECAUSE HE WON'T LET ME.
But seriously the best thing about that weekend was the chicks on the two wheelers!!!!!! How hot were they????? Are they going to be there again?

Yeh now i definitly know who you are. That was a hard smash when you were chasing China and something let go so you hit the dam wall. And when your hiper broke you threw the broken tire and it bounced over the fence onto my foot. lol owell i would have been angry to. And those spares you got a flat on were Reno's..... My Dad's mate. lol
That was a good weekend for most, except for the guy who put his brand new raptor in the dam by accident.

Oops sorry about your foot mate I got red hair that = bad temper. I guess i'm lucky I didn't end up in the dam with the Raptor. Hope to see you up there again this year. Little Birdy told me that i't will be at Reedy Creek. Dam I hope those chick will be there again

Ha! Us Thundercross racers get to see them all the time, and they love us just ask china.
Smitty at least you got to ride your own quad, mine only lasted 3 races then I had to race the Massey Ferguson, then someone decided to jump on top of it and bend up the rear end. Fun but expensive weekend for me. |

Yeah I think nearly all of us run over the same black cat as we drove into the track no one had a incedent free run but all had a good time. That old Raptor you rode must of been frustrating

You gotta go knockin on business doors around the Immediate area and cost in a Banner at the track ,put em in the program and give em a sponsor cost all up,sell,sell,sell .Transport companies,Earthmoving,manufacturing plants,Disney World...anyone.If presented wright you will be on a winner. There must be a politition umongst you Banana republicans.That it ! go to the Banana growers,they got plenty of cash action!!!!
The winner gets a Banana necklace ! Smitty you could hang em off your bike and have all the fruit,Bananas ,Cherry Bomb...

Yeah come to think of it, I had a bloody shocker at that event also.
Stalled it on the line during the first race and, courtesy of a Wiley Old Gatton rider, managed to re-arrange the position of a tyre barrier using my body as a lever in the very next race.
Awsome track though, even if it was built on an acient indian burial ground   .
