correction there cammo tyler's only 13yrs and and on a 150cc honda
too young to get accredited to do free style! but he show a lot of us how to do things and age doesn't come into it, this sucks but those are the rules
even your lad he's how old ? how long b4 we can let him jump?
one thing we will need is imput from free style quad riders is imput on how too keep it safe and what guide lines that should be adopted
motor cycling australia will want to have there say but they have little to no experiance on this issue { quads freestyle that's what i'am talking about } _________________ SA quad & motorcylce club member !

to get accredited you have to do the fmx course that is ran by a few good fmxers around australia
you have to prove ya good enough to get it i think checkout www.fmxaustralia.com for more info those guys will steer ya in right direction _________________ black covered in 5.7 powered oversize quad

may need to know some of the rules and regs!
is anyone doing shows an stuff?
i havent seen or heard of any quad freestylers (doing shows) in queendsland...... or anywhere else in aus for that matter!
do you just need a licence? (which is just physical and insurance...basicly) |

hi, we will be doing shows here at monster truck shows , spoke to rod jenner, he does all our mx coaching and can do freestyle acc, he will help us get the rules in place for ma, and to pass (roughly) he has to see you on a mx track you dont have to be a pro, but then jump a metal ramp and clear 50 or 60 ft he will work that out , but you have to be able to hit the ramp again & again & again & hit the down ramp incontrol & in the right place, he has failed people b4. looking at doing this first weekend in march 1st &2nd our first show should be 8th march, if you want to do this coarse there might be room just let me know , will keep you posted. _________________ hustleratv.com.au 0407 797 780

There are two levels of freestyle accreditation outlined in the 07 GCRs (see pages 140-142), both require you to ride a solo and be supercross endorsed with an Open National Licence. You must also have passed an MA approved FMX course.
There are a couple of issues for us to overcome... that we can only get FMX endorsement if we ride a solo... and that we don't want to wear a lanyard kill-switch jumping freestyle for obvious reasons, which is required for quads. Hopefully an exemption will be granted for both these issues given that they probably never thought quads would want to FMX here. _________________ Proud Member of QuadridersSA

id be hoping around the end of this year to start to think about it!
gotta get everything ready first!
and practice a hell of a lot more!
work alot more to keep the bike going!
my mates on 2 wheelers are keen too
still depends how well this year goes!
there is no way i'd be wanting to do a show if i couldnt hit a ramp and land safely!
so the accreditation part should be fine!
just wont attempt anything to out there when you're going for accred! |
