Could you ride a quad in the snow? Would it be like riding on sand and you could put paddles on them for grip or would it sink too much?

I've ridden snow and ice.
Snow really depends on what type.
You would probably be familiar with how sand varies between different types and wether it is wet or dry etc.
I would say snow can have twice the variation of sand.
Much like a snow boarder would say snow varies from good to bad.

Decent packed snow is the best and a 4wd Quad will do a lot more.

I def agree with Bullet. I wouldnt use paddles as you would soon wreck them on rocks. Maybe ok on a good open spot of hard pack with some loose stuff on top.

Yeah, I couldn't believe how they were driving that Hilux.
I wasn't as though they were showing off at there local BMX track in a hire car, they were in the middle of nowhere.
It did really well the way they were abusing it.

The sort of snow they were in, is wicked on quads.
Because the temp is always well bellow zero it never melts. You end up with a dry hard-pack snow.
Pop a couple a dozen ice studs in each tyre and let 'er have it.

maybe another achievement for the jumbo bullet Evil or Very Mad bit of ice riding. at least the little trx wouldn't break through the ice so easily.
