Hi All,
i was out at Willowbank Raceway tonight and spoke to a couple of officials about us running quads down the strip. They have got no problems with quads going down, all you need to do is fill in the form and pay your money. You still need to wear all your motorcross gear (helmet, jersey, pants, gloves, boots, googles). Any type of tyre is okay.
Cost: $36- includes 1 quad and 2 people; OR
$18- 1 spectator
We can even run in the street series that they have but it's an elimnation event, so if you loose you're out, and we all know i'll win so there's no point in doing that.  They run a test and tune nearly every Saturday night, you can go down the strip as many times as you like.
Who would like to have some fun in doing this??
If a group of us want to go, i will give them a call to confirm it's still okay. The next test and tune is on 12/01/08.

| i used to run my banshee there about 4 years ago, im sure you need leather jacket to run(same as bikes) |

thanks bansheebuzz, i will confirm that. there where however mx bikes running down without leather jackets. |

Thats pretty quick for an ATV. Main problem is that your at top speed by 3/4 track. you are better off going for the 1/8th mile time.

Can any of you guys tell me which insurance body they use at Willowbank?
In Roma they go under ANDRA and they "say no to Quads",
just tying to find which hoop they jumped through to run down there! |

That's what I thought , like I said to the lady on the phone , it's a motorbike with 4 wheels , but she wasn't having a piece of it 
I will ring willowbank , see if they can help us sought something out

Ive been asking politely to race at palmyra (mackay) for ages but as soon as you say Quad- bang fone slammed in ya ear or various other sarcasm/abuse.

if that helps.... it's closer to mckay:D
might wanna call them to check it out first i cant recall the last time i went to the drags!
just heard from a mate of a mate!!!
mini bikes ie.thumpstar (wannabee's)
