I need some rego for my bike,
goin for a ride on Sat29,
how long would it take the rta to give me the rego.
and whats the cheapest alternative

Should take all of 5 minutes at the rta.......Not sure how much it will cost you, depends on what your riding. I'm not sure if you can still get conditional rego for a weekend any more, could be up for BIG BUCK$.
Don't forget to stop at the servo on the way into Lavis Lane and get your beach permit $30.......A must. |

RTA will want to see proof of purchase forms also, so take that in with you or make sure ya write 1 out if ya brought privately and didnt get 1 then, they will not give it to ya unless you have this, plus ya have to go threw the crapy form saying yes ya got all this crap which ya dont which in the end makes it pointless if ya have a accident but we all do it anyway, so go along with it $30 bucks for plate (if ya dont have 1 yet, and ya get this then) think its $110 for 3 months and around $430 for 12, and yer ya need the national parks permit also

just reading this, can you only get rego for on place only over there, i was told that its 275$ and i have to name the place where im going to be riding. with so many bush tracks all over the place makes it a bit point less?

The price is split up into catagories depending on engine size, so depending on what you ride determines the price. Only about $40 of the fee is rego, the rest is 3rd party insurance incase you hit someone. Hence more dollars for more cc`s as they see these as more dangerous. this does only cover you for stockton though dammit!
You cant get a beach permit without rego. The rangers are up there in force at the moment and you will be sent packing without rego and permit.
They aparently in education mode until the end of January, at that point they will step into revenue mode.

So if your riding a trx 250 ex it would cost you less than if your riding a 700 raptor? Thats a bit dodgy  Why do they do that.

| A 50cc quad costs the same as a 700cc Raptor. What BC250r is talking about is trikes. They are seperated from ATVs on the rego forms (2 or 3 wheel motorcycles). |

Lucky i got that rego,
