Chris Brenton seems to be big on the stock honda tyres!
go for 20' rears mate you'll need them to get ground clearance. _________________

its a hard call as we dont ride in mush sand down here in vic. but I reckon most of the usual tyres will be pretty good as long as you go for the bigger sizes. Ground clearance will be the issue more so than the surface. _________________

I use 22" ITP Holeshot XCT at Stockton and they go great.
There a 6ply all purpose tyre. _________________ Don't close your eyes during the crash, you'll miss the best part |

| Kenda claws are always a good choice coz they are reversable they definately hook up good in sand 6ply on the tread 2ply on the side wall i think, good allrounder and they are cheap |

cheapest 6ply 20inch rear by a long shot Noodles.
I had some Klaw 20 inch XCR's and they were pretty good in sand but I'm a bit taken with the Maxxis iRazrs at the moment just havent ridden in deep and that much with them also a pity that they are so exepensive. _________________

| Yeah they look like they would work well, nice big gaps between the tread supposed to be puncture resistant too but damn they are expensive |

| i can vouch for the kenda klaws i have two sets some 20/11/9 and a pair of 8inch ones i ride them in all surfaces and dont really notice the difference when i go from dirt to sand and as its been said they are cheap and they last a lot longer than other tyres to |

klaws work well at wanneroo
i would bring a set of 18's and a set of 20's
you could run the 18's for a while till it gets real rutted out |

| I bought Kenda claws, they are great, I ride at stockton beach constantly and they are awesome, much better than the standard dunlops you get on the yamaha's, pretty bitey on the hard stuff though, constantly two wheeling on the dirt, I love it... |
