ive got an 04 kfx400 and it starts with the choke then runs for about 10 seconds and cuts out...first time its had a problem in 2 years since ive had it....anyone got any info or suggestions?cheers.

does it stop after you turn the choke off or while the choke is still on?

More details.
What happens if you try to start it again straight away, have you tried taking the choke off after 5 seconds while holding the revs at 2 or 3 times idle speed for say 30 seconds?
Does it keep running but just not return to idle?
Have you changed anything?
Was the last time you rode it underwater

got it going fellas........apparentely you need to have enough fuel in the tank to get it going...haha the fuel was just above reserve, the clean out of the carbie and plug didnt hurt though runs like a dream now...went riding today massive puddles and bog holes...great fun!!
