Has anyone had expierience with these computers on a Raptor 700?
I fitted one up to the 660 and had no problems at all, Now I have fitted a Vapor to the 700 and everything is fine except the Tacho, when I install the wires as sugested it keeps readding higher and higher even with the bike still idleing, when I use the other methode (wrapped around the plug lead wire )it is better but dosn't read the high revs and the bar is inconsistant, I have it earthed near the headlight frame.
Any ideas or sugestions would be greatly appreciated.

Mine is a lot better but still inconsistent, specially when I know I am on the limiter and it still reads 7700rpm, apparently you have to have this wire heavily insulated to stop interferance, will have plenty of time with this fractured wrist and ligiment damage to fix it all up, will keep you posted on results of insulated wire, have to have it around the plug lead as well, this improves it greatly

I HAD A LOOK AT TRAILTECH WEB SITE IT SAYS FOR RAPTOR 700 POSITIVE WIRE TO GO UNDER SPADE TERMINAL OF ORANGE WIRE. THIS IS THE WAY MINE IS SET UP SO I WILL HAVE A CRACK AT INSULATING AND RAPPING IT AROUND PLUG LEAD. NOW I'M HAVING TROUBLE WITH IT NOT GOING INTO SLEEP MODE LED GOES OUT BUT EVERYTHING ELSE STILL ON SCREEN.

i tried mine as described on the web site and it didn't work well, kept telling me it was on limiter etc.

Wrapped in insulated tape and heat transfer tape and will take it out in the morning and try it, mine takes 20 minutes to go into sleep mode and this is normal...

Good thing for keeping track of distance and average speed on the enduro loop I do nearly every weekend out the forrestry...
