On behalf of the Waldmann family & Territory Quad Assoc. Inc we would like to announce Joe Byrd the current American quad Motocross champion will be in Darwin on the 10th & 11th Sept for a school and 13th for a public race meeting which he will ride. Only 20 places are available for the school which will fill very quickly. At this point of time a entry will cost $1000 BUT as sponsors come on board the sponsors money will reduce this amount.
Sponsors are being negotiated now So If your interested in riding or sponsoring please call Kay Waldmann on 0418 813068 . Kay is Joe's contact in Australia correspondence will be though Kay not DMCC. Joe will be holidaying before the event and flying out after the race meet. One position of the riding school will given to ATVA for a national competition. So if would like some great advertising sponsoring this call Graham Murray on 0437 294 499.
DMCC would like to invite everybody to a once off race meet in Darwin on the Sat 13th of Sept where Joe Byrd will race in Pro open. Joe will bring his own Honda 450 one of 15 he uses for the season( so you will need tear offs) this will be a great quad event .

The Calendar has not been printed yet for WA but will be within the next two weeks.
We did try to see if we could get it changed but the options were not viable for the committee.
This race will be a premier event, so get behind it riders and support such a rider with his calibre that is coming over to promote the ATV sport.

Just checking prices for Tiger Airways Internet booked $200 return Melb to Darwin I'm contacting them today to see about group bookings.
I think thats around the cheapest we will get.

 Work keeps dicking me around so have to wait till start of june to find out if they are sending me away. Fingers crossed no one else wants to go to the school and takes my position by then.

Guys the NTFS in Melbourne will hold the truck to Darwin untill all the quads are on (Monday the 8th). This truck arrives in Darwin Thursday night and is about 2 km from my current workshop. Mitch Van Vliet quad will travel this way and our club will make everybody welcome. I'm sure Mitch will keep everybody honest in the pros and has making of future Australian champion.
